BULKY BOB'S - COLLECTS, RE-USES, RECYCLES
Bulky Bob’s is a pioneering social enterprise in the waste industry. It collects bulky household waste (predominantly furniture and white goods) under contracts with local authorities. The Bulky Bob’s service is a creative and innovative solution to bulky household waste management, that can divert up to 70% of bulky household waste from going to landfill.
Since it began in Liverpool in 2000, Bulky Bob’s has made more than 475,000 collections of bulky household waste. More than 275,000 individual furniture items and white goods have been rescued from going to landfill. In total we have collected more than 35,000 tonnes of waste furniture and white goods.
